Veal cutlets sicilian style

2 (circa 250gr.)
slices of veal
100 g
as desired
olive oil
For the filling:
150 g

mozzarella cheese
300 g
50 g
Parmesan cheese, grated
50 g
chopped onion
100 g
as desired
salt and pepper


To prepare the filling for the rolled cutlets, cut the mortadella, salami and mozzarella into cubes.


Cut the Schär Single White Bread into small pieces and mix with the parmesan, eggs, salt, pepper, parsley, onion. If necessary, moisten with a little milk.


As soon as the filling is ready, prepare the rolls.


Lay the cutlets flat and spread the filling over the middle. Roll up the meat (possibly with the help of foil placed under the cutlet) and compact well.


Tie the rolls with kitchen string to prevent them from opening during cooking.


Brush some olive oil over the rolls then dip in a bowl filled with Schär Breadcrumbs.


Place them on a baking tray and bake in the oven at 180° C for 15 minutes.


Cut into slices and serve.
